Alex Harwood – Partner and Founder
Alex Harwood is a UK solicitor, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), with extensive experience leading complex, high-value transactions. Having practised at the world’s largest international law firm, he has acted on multi-billion-dollar corporate real estate acquisitions, international real estate financings, and large-scale data centre transactions. Alex’s practice spans the full real estate and finance spectrum, from cross-border corporate support to cutting-edge development and investment structures. He has advised institutional investors, private equity funds, financial institutions, and multinational corporates across a wide range of jurisdictions and sectors.Renowned for combining technical expertise with sharp commercial insight, Alex delivers seamless execution on complex deals while safeguarding his clients’ strategic objectives. Matthew Morris Ashton– Partner and Founder
Matthew specialises in commercial real estate, advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development. He acts for a wide range of clients, including Chinese clients in the UK and overseas, and has experience across civil litigation, immigration, human rights, and estate planning. Fluent in Chinese, Matthew is able to bridge language and cultural gaps for international investors.

Xuebin - Director and Founder
With nearly 30 years of extensive experience in financial crime compliance, cross-border legal affairs, and judicial cooperation, Xuebin has served 15 years at the UK Ministry of Justice and five years as a senior overseas legal advisor to Sinopec, where he was also selected as a member of its expert pool of legal specialists. He holds a PhD in Criminology from the UK, with doctoral research focused on money laundering, providing an in-depth analysis of illicit asset concealment mechanisms and cultivating unique expertise in tracing criminal proceeds.He has taught law at BPP University Law School and the University of Cambridge. He has published multiple papers with leading international publishers and has delivered keynote speeches at major global conferences on economic crime. With extensive legal practice experience, he has successfully handled numerous complex contract disputes and notably guided a Chinese enterprise in recovering USD 10 million in assets through international arbitration.
